Yesterday, we had a special request from our teacher. Usually, homework would be a horrid, untamed mess of suffering and tears… but this time was different. This time children were not clutching their head in frustration. This time students were not miserably sitting on the couch and neglecting their homework. Oh yes, this time was different. This time students jumped for joy at the mention of homework and got right to work. We were doing something respectable too! What’s that? You want to know what the special assignment was? Well, okay! In honor of Ms. Haseltine’s late father we… ate ice cream! You see, her Dad loved the cold, creamy goodness!
I love the selection of word choice and we had the same homework!!
same! i was so thrilled when i heard what we had to do

This sounds like soo much fun! Over at Mercer we’ve done nothing like that before. Sounds like your homework was sweet. Nice work in this post and examples you shared were amazing.
